This past Friday night I was coaching until about 7:30 at a swim meet so when I got home, I didn't really feel like cooking anything too big. We had some sausages in the freezer and some orzo in the pantry. Joel cut up some peppers and onions and sauteed them on the stove to use on our sausages. He also warmed up some BBQ sauce. I cooked up some orzo and improvised. I mixed in a little of the pepper and onion mixture as well as some of the BBQ sauce. Then I added some shredded cheddar cheese and stirred everything together. I really didn't know what to expect with this, but to our surprise, it tasted quite good!
