Brown Sugar Maple Oatmeal

We just came back from spending a week in Florida with my inlaws and therefore have no real food in the house. Since we haven't had the chance to go grocery shopping yet, I had to resort to the food that was in the pantry shelves when making breakfast this morning. I concocted a sweet oatmeal treat that was very yummy (but I have a sweet tooth)! It was the perfect amount for me.

1 cup Water
Pinch of Salt
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1 1/2 tablespoons Brown Sugar (I used light)
1 tablespoon Golden Raisins
1 tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup

Bring the water and salt to a rolling boil. Add the oats, turning the heat down to medium, and stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cover for 2-3 minutes. Add the brown sugar, raisins, and syrup and stir. Garnish with a few more raisins on top.
