Broccoli White Wine Pasta


Last week, we went out for dinner and Joel ordered a pasta dish with broccoli in a garlic and olive oil creamy broth. It was absolutely delicious. We tried to replicate it at home this past week, but of course it was nothing like the dish he ordered. The dish we made was good, but you know what it's like when you are expecting something to taste a certain way and it doesn't turn out to taste that way.

1 package (8 ounces) Linguini Noodles (we used a local homemade black pepper flavor)
1 small head Broccoli, cut into florets
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1/2 cup Onion, chopped
2-3 tablespoons Olive Oil
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
Splash of White Wine

Cook the pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a saute pan, heat the olive oil and add the onions, garlic, and broccoli, cooking until the onions are translucent. Add the pasta, wine, and cheese and stir to combine.
